[Eat Konjac all you can in 20mins!!]

  It’s February 2021, my calendar first month! I would like to introduce one nice place in Gunma - The Konnyaku park !!

  Konjac is the English term for Konnyaku.

In Japan,92% of the konjac is harvested in Gunma.

So, if you come to Gunma, you must try it before it’s too late .

  Konnyaku park is a terrific place.They have many facilities for

entertainment. When you enter Konnyaku park ,the ticket is free!

The owner is heart of the Buddha!

That’s why I drew the calendar of this place in Buddhism style !

  First thing that you can try is to eat Konjac all you want in 20mins!!

You have to wait in a long line so I suggest you go there early!

There’s a lot of various food to choose.

It’s like a buffet and food was sublime !

We sure enjoyed ourselves there!

  After eating, you should clean your table in return for their

kindness!There is also a souvenir shop and  a tutorial class

on how to make Konjac!

The Konjac Experience class has to be advanced !

  There are three choices:

     A. Hand-Made Konjac Fruit Jelly Experience:

         Duration: 30 minutes

         Fees: Adult (middle school and above) 800 yen

                  Child (elementary school and up) 400 yen

    B. Konjac Color Magic Experience:

        Duration: 30 minutes

        Fees: Adult (middle school and above) 500 yen

                 Child (elementary school and up) 250 yen

    C. Handmade Konjac Experience:

        Duration: 60 minutes

        Fees: Adult (middle school and above) 1,000 yen

                 Child (elementary school and up) 500 yen

  To be honest, I haven’t tried those experiences class,

I just bought some souvenirs, I think it’s a lot more fun to join those     classes with children !

  After shopping for souvenirs ,

we visited konjac factory, and also the way of the exhibition,

you can see the history of konjac or how to make color of the konjac.

    You can really learn a lot about konjac when you visit Konnyaku park .Konjac is a food product made from the konjac potato, part of the taro plant family. Japanese people use konjac to make oden stew.

  It’s like jelly and doesn't have any taste so it goes well with variety of sauces.

   There are also free public foot baths outside.Japanese call it Ashiyu .You just have to bring your own towel to dry your feet.
